I bring insights and wisdom from many different spiritual practices. The foundation of my training is African and earth-honoring. I integrate understanding of many different views including modern science and even atheism. I study multiple perspectives, so that I can honor the whole of humanity. How is this possible? I approach our inner healing through a practice of bringing conscious awareness to those aspects of ourselves that cause distress and resistance. I've been called a grandmother by those not much younger than me, I think its because my style is nurturing yet firm. I bring excitement to learning while maintaining focus on responsibility and growth. Deeper self awareness, higher knowledge and reconnection with inner power is the focus of my work.

The background photo on this site is reported to be an engraving–probably of a photograph from Harper's Weekly showing eight Haitian Sevite found guilty in February 1864 of the murder and cannibalism of a 12-year-old child. The case was a product of racism, misreporting and sensationalism directed by Sir Spenser St John, British charge d’affaires in Haiti during the 1860s. The derogatory, racist, and false perceptions from this "witch hunt" lingers to this day. Recommended Reading.
